Man injured in accident on U.S. 20 Wednesday morning

UPDATE 11:30 a.m.: A St. Anthony man was taken to the hospital from an accident on U.S. 20 Wednesday morning.

Idaho State Police said Tristian J. Rawson, 20, hit the back end of a semi hauling two trailers.

Police said the semi just entered the highway from E 200 North and was getting up speed when Rawson struck the rear trailer.

Rawson was taken to Madison Memorial Hospital. As of 2:30 p.m., officials said he is in stable condition.

The driver of the semi, Jake W. Jensen, 33, of Rexburg was not injured.

The crash happened approximately 7:30 a.m. near milepost 341, north of Sugar City. It blocked southbound traffic for a couple of hours.

UPDATE 9:30 a.m.: All lanes are now open on U.S. 20 north of Sugar City.

Idaho State Police are investigating a crash in the southbound lane of U.S. 20 north of Sugar City.

The crash is located about milepost 342 in Fremont County.

Southbound lanes are blocked and traffic is being diverted while crews work to clean up the scene.
