NeighborWorks received $15,000 check to create more houses

NeighborWorks Pocatello has spent the past several months participating in the NeighborhoodLIFT program.

The program was funded by Wells Fargo for the purpose of increasing homeownership opportunities for low and moderate income Idaho residents.

Wednesday Wells Fargo presented a $15,000 check to NeighborWorks for their effort to create more houses in Pocatello in celebration of the successful program.“I really love this program and that we take a vacant lot or an area where there were a blighted house like there was right here and often times will take that house down will tear the house down and have a nice development in its place just like this,” said Mark Sahlquist, Executive Director of NeighborWorks.

Approximately 350 families in Idaho received financial support through the NeighborhoodLIFT program.
