IFPD serves 23 warrants in a week

The Idaho Falls Police department said they mobilized and served 23 warrants in a 7-day period. 13 of them were served on May 8, 2018.

IFPD said they are cracking down on those with pending warrants stemming from serious charges like battery and drug trafficking. 12 of the people arrested had felony warrants. Two of the arrests also brought new charges, including possession of controlled substances and possession of paraphernalia.

Idaho Falls Police Chief Bryce Johnson said the work of the officers in finding the wanted persons and arresting them was professional and according to policy.
