Ross Park opens for 2018 Season

Pocatello’s Ross Park Aquatic Complex will be opening for the 2018 season at noon on Saturday, May 26.

The lazy river resistance walking events will be expanded to five days a week and twice on weeknights this season. Sessions will be held Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. You enter the river and then walk against the current, getting a workout. The exercise is best suited for individuals 16 and older who want to begin or add to their fitness routine.

You can also enjoy the 25- yard by 25-meter main pool, waterslide, activity pool and a zero-depth pool with playground.

For those who want to stay out of the water, there is an open deck and grassy areas to sit and relax as well as a concession stand to pick up a bite to eat.

RPAC is located at 2901 S 2nd Ave, Pocatello.

It is open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

The 2018 season will wrap up August 26.
