Renovated Idaho Falls church reopens as new medical facility

The Healing Sanctuary is officially open in Idaho Falls.

The new medical facility is located in an old LDS church in downtown Idaho Falls. The owners spent years renovating the facility into the new space.They even won the Orchid Award for historic building preservation. Doctors at the healing sanctuary focus on gynecology and obstetrics as well as integrative functional medicine. They will not only provide medical care, but they will hold classes and even have a place for the public to come eat healthy dishes.Their goal is to help patient’s find their optimal health.

“We not only just look at laboratory information or diagnostic test, but we also look at their mental, emotional and spiritual health as well,” said Dr. Jeff Baker, owner of The Healing Sanctuary. “Because we know all of those are critical in helping people reach their optimal level of health as well as to be happy in life.”

The Healing Sanctuary is open 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. They are located at 187 E 13th St. in Idaho Falls.
