Idaho Falls man receives severe burns after an RV fire

An Idaho Falls man is severely burned after an RV fire on Saturday morning.

At 4:28 a.m., the Idaho Falls Fire Department was dispatched to the Snake River RV Park, on 1440 Lindsay Boulevard for a report of a structure.

Two RV park occupants called the joint City/County dispatch with a report of flames coming from an RV. Law enforcement arrived on scene at 4:34 a.m., followed by the IFFD ladder truck at 4:35 a.m.

One adult male was injured in the fire. He was transported by ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center and then transported to the University of Utah Burn Center.

There were no other reported injuries.

The RV was a total loss. Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to other structures in the area.
