Police investigate early morning armed robbery

Update: 2:40 p.m.

Pocatello Police have released a more specific description of a suspect who held up the Kicks 66 convenience store early Thursday.

The man as described as being 5′ 9″ to 6′ tall, weighing between 180-200 pounds. He was wearing a tan Carhart or similar style coat, grey hoody, light blue jeans, grey shoes and a face mask.

Pocatello Police are investigating a reported armed robbery at the Kicks 66 convenience store at 1510 Pocatello Creek Road at around 4 a.m. Thursday.

According to reports, a male entered the store and displayed a “sawed-off” firearm and demanded money. The man ran away from the business in a northbound direction.

No one was injured.

The suspect was identified as a “dark complexioned” man in his 30’s. A more thorough description was being developed, according to police.
