I.F. man hospitalized after I-15 crash

An Idaho Falls man was hospitalized after a two-car crash on Interstate 15 at around 9:15 p.m. Friday. It happened in the northbound lane at milepost 110.5, south of Idaho Falls.

Idaho State Police said Brandon M. Twitchell, 31, of Idaho Falls was northbound in a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier. Twitchell struck the rear of another northbound car, a 2015 Chrysler 300, driven by Terry K. Anderson, 66, also of Idaho Falls.

After the collision, Twitchell drove off the left shoulder and his car rolled into the median. The Chrysler came to rest on the left shoulder.

Twitchell was taken by ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was not wearing a seat belt. Anderson was.

Investigation of the crash is continuing.
