Blackfoot works to control flooding
Cannon Builders and Blackfoot city personnel are working to control flooding problems on properties adjacent Airport Road, near Jensen’s Grove, McCarley Field Airport and Airport Park. 
Early Sunday, crews placed a high-volume water pump in the flooded area and attempted to remove blockage from an underground pipe moving water from Corbett Slough.
Another high-volume pump was being installed Monday to help remove overflow.
City officials said that if flooding continues, a diver will be deployed to perform a visual inspection as soon as it is safe enough to examine the underground pipe.
