Free Monday night fishing at Ryder Park

You can fish for free on Monday night’s at Ryder Park in Idaho Falls all summer long.

Just check in at the fishing shed in the park, and fish without a fishing license from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. every Monday night throughout the summer.

Poles and bait are available free of charge for those who need them.

Ryder Park is located at 2001 W Sunnyside Road.

It is open all year long with normal hours of 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fish and Game stocks the pond once in April, twice in May, June, July and August, and once in September.

Be sure to be familiar with the park’s regulations before you head out.

Trout limit is 2 fish, all species combined Any person over 14 years must have a valid fishing license. (Except for Monday night from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.) No overnight camping Removal of any City property is prohibited Parking in designated areas only No motorized boats, small crafts, radio controlled craft or flotation devices No swimming Dogs must be kept on a leash Cutting, picking, or destruction of plant life is prohibited Fish cleaning in designated areas only No wading – bank fishing only
