Summer reading programs begin

Libraries across eastern Idaho started their summer reading program on Monday.

The theme for this year is “Libraries Rock.”

In Bonneville County, you can sign up for summer reading at the Idaho Falls Public Library, the Iona Library, or the Swan Valley Branch Library.

You can check out the list of summer reading events in Bonneville County here.

In Bannock County, you can sign up either online or at the Marshall Public Library.

The Marshall Public Library said that there will be daily activities such as movies, art, food, special visitors and STEM programs.

In Madison County, you can also sign up online or in person.

You can only play once however, either online or with a paper log booklet. The goals and prizes are the same whichever way you choose. All activities will be held at the library.
