Theft suspect arrested in Aberdeen
Aberdeen Police arrested a 26-year-old Blackfoot man Sunday on a number of theft-related charges.
Cesar Hernandez Castanon was wanted on an outstanding Aberdeen warrant for a vehicle burglary.
Bingham County deputies were called out Sunday afternoon for a report of a stolen car and issued an attempt-to-locate bulletin.
An Aberdeen officer spotted him there a short time later and took the man into custody.
Castanon was arrested and was being held in the Bingham County Jail on the original warrant charges of petit theft and burglary, as well as three new charges. Those charges are robbery, aggravated battery and driving without privileges.
