Ammon renames park after longtime community member

Ammon has a newly-named park.

Falcon Park just south of 17th and off Falcon Drive was just recently renovated, and Monday it was renamed Orland Bailey Park.

Orland was a longtime community member in Ammon, but he was much more than that.

He was a dedicated public servant, who would often collect unwanted food from grocery stores to feed to the hungry and homeless.

And he did this for years.

Orland died back in November doing what he loved.
