Center Street lighting project planned

The city of Pocatello will close the Center Street Walkway early next week.

It’s part of an effort by the city Operations Department to replace the walkway’s current lights with more energy efficient LED lighting.

The north walkway will be closed to all pedestrian traffic on Monday and the south walkway will be closed on Tuesday.

The underpass will remain open to all vehicle traffic throughout the process.
