Firework sales begin today
The community is getting ready for the Fourth of July. Fireworks sales started today in Idaho Falls. You may have noticed stands popping up around town.
A lot of people do fireworks stands as fundraisers. One local woman says she has been doing this for years to raise money for her husband’s cancer treatments and medical bills.
“This is our eleventh year that we’ve done it. So yeah, it’s fun and we have return customers and it’s fun to have clientele build up that have become our friends,” says Susan Drouin.
Drouin says they will be in the Black Bear Diner parking lot for the next two weeks.
