BLM working to contain small fire in Bingham County

The Bureau of Land Management is working to contain a small brush fire burning in Bingham County.

The Liberty Fire has burned just over 180 acres about 1/2 mile west of Hoff Road in the lava flow area.

BLM was assisted by the Blackfoot and Aberdeen Fire Departments, the fire was contained around 9:00 p.m. Wednesday night.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
