Crowds arriving for Idaho Falls’ Riverfest

An estimated 170,000 people are expected at Snake River Landing in Idaho Falls tonight for the Mountain View Hospital Riverfest and Melaleuca Freedom Celebration fireworks show.

Crowds were beginning to fill the Snake River Landing by mid-afternoon Wednesday.

Admission is free, but some activities do have a charge. Over 20 food booths are prepared along with live music, a kid’s zone, horseback riding, and even helicopter rides.

Visitors are advised to be patient and be ready for crowds and slow moving traffic.
