Swan Valley man arrested for indecent exposure and DUI

A 26-year-old Swan Valley man was arrested Wednesday night for indecent exposure and driving under the influence.

Bonneville County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Ammon Walmart at 10:30 p.m. to a report of a man inside the store exposing himself.

Witnesses told deputies an adult male was walking around in the store with his genitals exposed, and they followed him to a running vehicle in the parking lot.

Deputies were able to locate the man sitting in a pickup. He has been identified him as Joseph M. Burns.

After a series of Field Sobriety Tests, deputies placed Burns under arrest and transported him to the Bonneville County Jail.

While at the jail, Burns submitted to a breath test which indicated he had a .17 BAC, which is more than twice the legal limit.

Burns was then booked into the jail on misdemeanor charges of Driving Under the Influence and Indecent Exposure
