Cinder Fire burns off Highway 33
The Bureau of Land Management said the Cinder Fire burned approximately 40 acres off Highway 33 at mile marker 65 between Rexburg and Sage Junction.
it’s started Thursday afternoon. The cause is unknown.
Central Fire District, BLM and Hamer Fire crews helped fight the fire.
BLM helicopters also dropped water on the fire.
