Another glass recycling drop-off bin available
UPDATE 7/10/18: The City of Pocatello reports officials have added another location for you to drop off your glass.
A dumpster has been added at Snake River Rapid Wash, 4000 Yellowstone Avenue.
Other drop-off bins are located across the city.
All colors of glass are accepted, and the bins are accessible 24/7.
Porcelain, ceramics, automotive, mirrors, and light bulbs, bottle tops and lids will not be accepted.

The glass recycling program is hosted by the city of Pocatello.
UPDATE 6/6/18: The City of Pocatello reports due to unforeseen circumstances, the glass recycling bin at Costco is not available.
The Sanitation Department is currently looking for a new location in the area.
We will keep the story updated when the new location is announced.

The requests have been answered. There is now glass recycling in Pocatello.
The sanitation department says many people have reached out about wanting to recycle glass. “Momentum Recycling” in Salt Lake reached out and agreed to receive the collected glass.
The people of Pocatello are excited.
“We have had so much response on Facebook, phone calls, everything. My friends are all like ‘Yay, finally!’ so yes, it’s a great thing, we just put them out this morning and this one behind me was about a quarter of the way full,” says Debbie Brady, Recycling Coordinator.
There are locations at City Hall, Costco, Old Town, Holt Arena, Riddley’s and Albertsons.
