Idaho Falls house fire estimated damage at $100,000

Idaho Falls firefighters were called to a house fire at 1885 Charlene Street at 3:52 p.m. Friday.

Firefighters found flames coming from the home when they arrived.

Officials said there was one adult female inside the home who was able to self-evacuate.

It was reported that there were cats inside the home, but officials do not know if the cats were able to escape.

Officials say the fire started in the backyard and spread to the house.

There were no civilians or firefighters injured in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The estimated damage is $100,000.
