Spirit Ride passes through eastern Idaho

Tow truck drivers across the country are participating in the American Towman Spirit Ride.

The trailer, carrying an (empty) casket, is touring Idaho’s highways to remind motorists about the state’s “Move Over” law.

The law requires motorists to slow down and move to another lane when an emergency vehicle, including authorized tow trucks, are working along the side of the road.

The casket arrived at Sunkiss Enterprise on Lincoln Road in Idaho Falls this morning. It was transferred to a new roll-back tow truck and proceeded on to its next stop Friday.
