Tarzan Swing opens at Snow King Mountain

If you’ve always wanted to swing on a rope and yell like Tarzan, now is your chance.

The Snow King Mountain resort in Jackson recently opened a new “Tarzan Swing.” You climb up a 25 foot pole, and then leap and swing just like Tarzan. It is part of the intermediate red course on their Treetop Adventure course. The resort says this new feature is difficult compared to other Treetop courses.

“The thing that makes the Treetop Adventure at Snow King unique is that it’s situated on the side of a mountain,” said Christian Santelices, manger of operations for Treetop Adventure. “Most of the parks that I’ve been to around the world are in more of a flat area and so there’s not as much climbing. So, it’s a little more difficult than a lot of the parks that I’ve been to because there are a lot of ladders.”

The Treetop Adventure course is over two miles long. They also have the Flying Squirrel course for kids.
