IFPD getting ready for a night out

It’s almost time for a night out. The Idaho Falls Police Department is getting ready for National Community Night Out.

The department has held the event for many years. Vendors and community members come out for a night of fun, activities, and food. It also gives the department a chance to get to know the community.

“Get the opportunity to just talk with the community, see what concerns they’ve got and just show off some of our capabilities, help people understand better what we can and can’t do and all of those kinds of things. So it’s a really fun, really interactive opportunity to just rub shoulders with the community and have a good time because that’s what it’s all about,” says Captain Royce Clements, with IFPD.

The night out is set for August 7th 5:30 to 8:30 on the Greenbelt.
