Blackfoot man faces vehicular manslaughter charge following investigation

A Blackfoot man is facing a vehicular manslaughter charge after a deadly motorcycle crash.

It happened the morning of June 19th at Sunnyside at the Interstate 15 on ramp. Kevin Scott Spaulding was heading West on Sunnyside when he did not stop and hit a motorcycle. The 18-year-old rider was wearing a helmet and protective gear but was killed in the crash.

Spaulding turned himself in on Tuesday (July 17, 2018) to the Bonneville County Jail. He was booked on the charge, but posted bail and has been released.
