Steamboat Geyser erupts twelfth time in 2018
The Steamboat Geyser in Yellowstone National Park erupted for the twelfth time in 2018 on Friday.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the geyser erupted at 10:36 p.m. and it lasted 22 minutes.
USGS said the geyser has decided to follow a semi-regular pattern of erupting every 6-8 days over the past two months; however, it has been 14 days 8 hours 59 minutes since the last eruption on July 6.
