UPDATE: Grassy Ridge Fire has burned 1,478 acres

UPDATE 7:29 p.m. THU: The Bureau of Land Management reports the Grassy Ridge Fire has burn 1,478 acres so far.

It is 0% contained. The fire is running northeast in grass and brush, but is not a threat to any structures at this time.

Nine engines and three dozers from multiple agencies are on the fire. The fire was started by lightning according to the BLM.

The Bureau of Land Management is responding to the Grassy Ridge Fire 15 miles northwest of St Anthony.

The fire is north of Red Road and is estimated at 350 acres.

BLM reports the fire was caused by lightning.

No structures are threatened.

Five engines and two dozers are responding to the fire. BLM has also ordered three more engines.

Officials estimate containment for Friday at 10 p.m.
