IFPD to get new public information officer

Idaho Falls Police Department Public Information Officer Holly Cook will be leaving the Idaho Falls Police Department on September 5.

“It was a very hard decision to make,” said Cook.

She has been in this position since December 2017.

Sergeant Jon Johnson will be taking over the public information duties temporarily until Chief Johnson decides how he will proceed with filling the position.

Sergeant Johnson has been with the IFPD for 21 years.
