Zoo Idaho to Host “Military Appreciation Day”

Zoo Idaho is saying thanks to those who served in the military.

The zoo is hosting its “10th Annual Military Family Appreciation Day” and will offer free admission to those who are currently serving or have served in the United States Armed Forces and their families.

Current and former members of the military will need to show proof of service, such as a military identification card, to receive free admission.

“On behalf of Zoo Idaho, I would like to express our thanks to those who have sacrificed for our nation,” said Peter Pruett, Zoo Idaho Superintendent. “Because of their service, we are all able to enjoy the freedoms we do today.”

The event is on Saturday, September 1st from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
