Steamboat Geyser erupts 14th time in 2018

The Steamboat Geyser in Yellowstone National Park erupted for the 14th time in 2018 on Wednesday.

Yellowstone Guidelines captured the video above of the eruption.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the geyser erupted at 11:43 a.m. and lasted 37 minutes.

USGS said the geyser has decided to follow a semi-regular pattern of erupting every 6-8 days over the past two months; however, it has been 17 days 21 hours and 33 minutes since the last eruption on August 4.
