Weekend smoke, changes by Monday

A cold front through Montana is driving in some wind and a few isolated thunderstorms. Sunny and smoky skies expected for most of the weekend. A cold front from the Northwest is marching in for late Sunday and Monday, with scattered showers and dropping temperatures.

Saturday: Smoke & sunny, with a high near 80°. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 20 to 30 mph in the afternoon.

Sunday: Areas of smoke. Sunny and cooler with a high into the mid to upper 70’s. Evening thunderstorms with gusty winds.

Monday: Mostly cloudy with scattered rain and thunderstorms. Highs into the upper 60’s and lower 70’s.

Tuesday: A few showers and thunderstorms but otherwise partly cloudy, with highs into the mid 70’s.
