Aberdeen man to face January murder trial

Eugene Ruff, 63, entered a plea of not guilty to first-degree murder in a Bingham County courtroom Tuesday. He is currently being held in the Bingham County Jail on $1,000,000 bond.

Ruff was arrested on July 5 at his home in Aberdeen. His wife, Bettilee, was found dead at the house of apparent gun shot wounds to the torso.

Ruff will face trial before Judge Darren B. Simpson in Bingham County in January. A jury trial is scheduled to begin on January 22.
