Knife River Construction is moving into a significant phase of work at the new Roundabout at the intersection of N. 25th East (Hitt Road) and Lincoln Road.

Beginning August 1st through August 9, the entire intersection will be closed to allow for construction of a new roundabout. The closure will impact Hitt Road from Iona Road to 1 st Street and Lincoln Road from Ammon Road to Woodruff Avenue. A localized detour will be established.
At the same time, all of Lincoln Road, between North 25th East (Hitt Road) and Ammon Road will be closed to through traffic from August 1st through October 15. There will be access provided to local residents and business access only.

If your regular commute involves that area, the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office encourages drivers to plan extra time to get where they’re going. Deputies also encourage drivers to have patience, obey traffic control devices, slow down around construction equipment and personnel and avoid distractions.
