East Idaho Kids Fair brings free fun for the whole family

As we wrapped up the Eastern Idaho State fair last week, another fair is coming to eastern Idaho; the East Idaho Kids Fair. It will be two days of free fun for the whole family.

The fair has activities like pony rides, Texas Roadhouse Bingo, movies, carnival games and the INL Stem Program. Kids will also get the chance to meet some of their favorite heroes and princesses.

On Saturday, a helicopter, courtesy of Operation Shield, will be at the Fair at 1 p.m. to drop 1,000 ping pong balls from the sky. On those balls will be prizes, including the chance to win free helicopter rides.

This year the fair has moved to a new location at Tautphaus Park Ice Arena in Idaho Falls. The fair runs on Friday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The East Idaho Kids Fair is sponsored by; Operation Shield, Riverbend Communications, Smiles 4 Kids, Ron Sayer, ISU Credit Union, Rockwell Homes, Texas Roadhouse, Freightliner, A-Pro Appliance, Edge Climbing, Bander/Pancheri Daycare and Blackfoot Community Center.
