League of Women Voters help students register at ISU

It’s voter registration day. However, getting millennials to vote is no easy task.

The League of Women Voters of Pocatello had a table set up at Idaho State University to help students register to vote. The event was held in Rendezvous Center on the ISU campus from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Students from out of state were also assisted by registering for an absentee ballot.

“This is a turbulent time for the united states and I feel like if we really want to make a change and get some and some younger people involved, the first thing we need to do is get them to vote,” said Annie Harrison, Student at ISU and Secretary for the League of Women Voters.

The deadline to pre-register to vote or update your registration is October 12. However, Idaho voters may register at the polls on voting day.
