American Falls men sent to hospital after alcohol related crash

Two men were sent to the hospital after an alcohol related crash in American Falls.

Idaho State Police say that on Sunday, around 4:50 a.m., Brayan Garnica and Fernando Flores, both of American Falls, were traveling northbound on Borah Road near American Falls. The car went off the right shoulder and rolled.

Garnica was wearing a seatbelt.

ISP say alcohol was involved in the crash.

Garnica was transported to Power County Hospital in American Falls by ground ambulance. Flores was transported to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello by air ambulance. Flores is listed in critical condition.

The road was blocked for two and a half hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
