Cold front moving through

A cold front is expected Thursday, with gusty winds, scattered showers and much cooler temps.

Snow levels behind this front will lower to 6500 to 7000 feet by Friday morning. Snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches is expected above 8000 feet, less than one inch is expected on mountain passes. Temperatures remain cool for the weekend.

Tonight: Lows in the 40’s with mostly cloudy skies.

Thursday: Rain with highs in the low 60’s. Gusty winds, with a south southwest wind 15-35 MPH. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%

Friday: Mostly sunny with a slight chance of showers. Highs into the mid 50’s.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers, highs into the lower 50’s.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a slight risk of showers, highs into the lower 50’s.
