Yellowstone fire danger drops

A little rain means a lot of difference for regional firefighters.

After a tinder-dry summer, the fire danger in Yellowstone National Park was dropped to “LOW” Thursday.

There are no fire restrictions currently in force. However, as always, campfires are only permitted in fire rings in campgrounds and in some back country campsites.

All campfires must be left cold to the touch.
