Republican candidates touring state

The Republican candidates are on tour around the state meeting with voters.

The bus tour began on Wednesday. Friday there were in northern Idaho visiting communities there.

Gubernatorial candidate Brad Little, Lt. Governor Janice McGeachin and Superintendent Sherri Ybarra are on the tour, along with Mike Simpson for Congress, Lawerence Denney for Secretary of State, Brandon Woolf for State Controller, Lawrence Wasden for Attorney General, Julie Ellsworth for State Treasurer.

Local Legislative candidates will join the tour as they go through their district, they said.

The tour will continue Monday in eastern Idaho community. Beginning Monday afternoon in Mackay, Challis, and Salmon.

Tuesday, the tour will be in Arco, Terreton, Dubois, Ashton, Island Park, St. Anthony and finishing up in Rexburg.

Wednesday, the tour begins in Rigby, then off to Victor, Driggs, Sugar City, Menan and ending in Idaho Falls.

Thursday, they start in Blackfoot, then on to Pocatello, Soda Springs, Montpelier, Preston, Malad, American Falls, Rupert, and Burley.
