Winter parking regulations start Nov. 1 in Jackson

Snow or no, the Town of Jackson will begin enforcing winter parking ordinances Thursday, Nov. 1.

The law prohibits parking in the public right of way to facilitate snow removal and winter street maintenance.

The ban is in effect from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. every night from Nov.1 through April 15.

Any cars left on the street will be ticketed and could be towed at the owner’s expense. Cars will be taken to either Ron’s Towing, Eagle Towing, or Big Bear/Flat Creek Towing.

Residents are also reminded to keep their sidewalks shoveled. The town does assist with snow removal on downtown core sidewalks and along Broadway Avenue.
