Idaho Falls Animal Shelter reducing adoption fees to ease overcrowding

The Idaho Falls Animal Shelter is overflowing with cats, and rather than euthanizing the cats, the shelter has reduced their adoption fee.

According to a Facebook post, shelter employees have spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped all these cats and is offering them for a reduced adoption fee of $20.
Employees say Fiona would probably do best as a barn cat, but the others would most likely be wonderful indoor companions.

There is one more barn cat (a Siamese) that will be available Friday afternoon after surgery is completed.

“Please come take one of these beauties home and help us save lives!”

If you would like to adopt one of these cats, the shelter is open weekdays from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and closed Sunday.
