Little names Chief of Staff, plans to enact Proposition 2

Governor-elect Brad Little has named Zach Hauge as his Chief of Staff.

Hauge served as Little’s campaign manager during the 2018 campaign. Prior to the political race, he was Vice President of at the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry.

Selecting a Chief of Staff is one of the first steps in Governor-elect Little’s transition into the Office of Governor. Those looking to apply for a job in the Governor-elect’s administration can find more information here.

One of Little’s next immediate acts will come next Tuesday. As acting Governor, Little will join Secretary of State Lawrence Denny and the State Board of Canvassers to formally certify the results of the General Election.

Little will also issue a proclamation declaring Proposition Two, Medicaid expansion, to be law. Voters approved the measure by a 60 percent margin.
