1 person injured in US 30 crash
UPDATE:
Idaho State Police said Robert Dexter, 37, of Soda Springs, was east bound in the right lane of US 30 at 8:06 a.m. Saturday at milepost 414, about 7 miles east of Soda Springs.
ISP said Dexter was driving a 1987 Jeep Wrangler. A 2010 semi-trailer truck pulling a single tank trailer, was following behind the Jeep in the left lane. According to reports, the Jeep turned in front of the semi. The truck struck the driver’s side of the Jeep.
As a result of the crash, the Jeep came to rest in the roadway and the Freightliner came to rest on the left shoulder.
Dexter, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported to Caribou Memorial Hospital in Soda Springs by ambulance.
The highway was blocked for about three-and-a half hours while crews cleaned up the crash.
Investigation is continuing.

All eastbound lanes and some westbound lanes on U.S. 30 just east of Soda Springs are blocked due to a crash.
Idaho State Police say that law enforcement is at the scene.
