Police investigate Sunday morning attack

Pocatello Police are attempting to track down suspects who attacked a man shortly after midnight Sunday.

Police were called to Rolberto’s, at 700 North Main Street, after an employee reported a man had come into the business bleeding from his face and head. Before the employee could help him, the man left the restaurant.

Police found the victim in the Ridley’s parking lot at 900 North Main and provided first aid until an ambulance arrived.

The victim claimed four Hispanic men had beat him up. His only identifying information wwas that one of the men was “fat”.

Officers followed a blood trail to the area of 300 North U.P.

Police verified the victim had been in the Oasis bar prior to the assault taking place. Police are pursuing additional leads and anyone with information should contact Pocatello Police Investigations at 208-234-6121.
