START Bus to add new Teton Valley commuter run

With some help from the state of Idaho, the Town of Jackson, and Teton County, Wyoming, START Bus has announced plans for an additional commuter run from Teton Valley beginning Monday.

A 50 percent funding grant from the state of Idaho and general funds from the town and county will establish a fourth regular commuter route.

START is also making some adjustments in other departure times, based on the results of rider surveys last spring.

“This additional commuter route is very important to our community and provides an opportunity for those employees in the valley working 7am – 7pm to now be able to ride the bus to and from work in the valley,” Transit Director Darren Brugmann said.

The new departure times are as follows:

— Departure times from Driggs: 5:40 AM, 6:25 AM, 7:00 AM, and 7:40 AM

— Departure times from Jackson: 3:45 PM, 5:05 PM, 6:00 PM, and 7:30 PM
