Suspect held in Twin Falls for Pocatello shooting

UPDATE: 11-22 Pocatello Police say they have obtained felony arrest warrants for Christopher W. Wilson, 18, in connection with a shooting incident at 1242 N. Main Street November 16.

Wilson is currently being held in the Twin Falls County Jail on unrelated charges.

The Pocatello Investigations Division said he is being charged with aggravated battery and robbery in connection with the Pocatello shooting.

The police investigation is continuing and anyone with additional information should contact the Pocatello Police Department at 208-234-6121.

Shooting victim James Armstrong is reported to be recovering from non-life threatening injuries after surgery Friday.

Pocatello Police say surveillance photos released this weekend have generated some leads for investigators, who are interviewing people suggested to them by the public.

Pocatello Police have released more information about the two suspects they are seeking in connection with a shooting incident at a private residence on Main Street early Friday morning.

Police said the suspects may have been connected to a red passenger vehicle that was seen parked in the Idaho Bar parking lot at 1225 N. Main Street for over two hours. The car had Colorado license plates with the partial license of “VOC”. Two men were observed in the car. It is unknown, for sure, that this car was involved in the crime.

Surveillance pictures of two suspects have been released. The first is a white male in his mid-teens to early 20’s. He is tall, wearing a yellow hoodie over a darker coat, with grey sweat pants and white shoes.

The second suspect is described as a hispanic male in his late 20’s to earlyh 30’s. He has a slender build. He was wearing an unfitted white hat with an Adidas emblem, a black leather jacket and jeans.
