Idaho Supreme Court agrees to hear constitutional challenge
The Idaho Supreme Court entered an order on Monday regarding Briefing and Hearing.
The Court ordered that a briefing by Secretary of State Lawrence Denney is to be filed 21 days from the date of December 3rd, 2018 but not later than December 24th, 2018 at 12:00 p.m.
The Court is ordering that Brent Regan to file any response by January 9th, 2019. at 5:00 p.m.
The Court is also ording that the matter is set for oral argument/hearing on January 29th, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.
According to attorney Bryan Smith, parties normally file legal actions in the lower courts.
These cases can work their way up through the appellate process often taking months or years to resolve.
