Wall of Warmth provides free coats for those in need

An Idaho Falls woman is helping to keep locals warm this holiday season.

Valorie Smith and Action Motor Sports have teamed up to build the Wall of Warmth to provide coats for those in need.

The wall is located next to Action Motor Sports on Lincoln Road.

There are more than 120 coats available in men, women and children sizes.

Smith hopes that people will come and take advantage of the wall.

“It’s been kind of heart-wrenching understanding how many people are in need, because, y’know around here we’re so thankful and we’re so blessed with everything that, we don’t realize that deep down below our neighbor could really be in a position where they need some help. So it’s been able to give back to a community that’s given so much to us,” said Smith.

If you would like to donate a coat to the Wall of Warmth, head on down to Action Motor Sports at 1355 E Lincoln Road, and they will get your coat on the wall. Action Motor Sports will even supply a hanger and plastic cover for the coat.
