Gusty winds with some snow showers
A cold front is approaching for Wednesday morning. This front will drive in gusty winds and scattered snow showers. We’re looking for 1-3″ of new snow for the Snake River Plain. However, we expect to see that snow blowing and drifting making for some difficult travel and uncomfortable conditions all day on Wednesday.
Tonight: Snow likely. Areas of blowing and drifting snow, with a low into the lower 20’s. South wind 15-25 mph.
Wednesday: Snow showers, with blowing and drifting ground snow. Highs into the lower 30’s with winds 15-25 MPH. Chance of precipitation is 90%. 1-2″ of new snowfall possible.
Thursday: Partly cloudy with a high into the mid 20’s.
Friday: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of snow, highs near 30°.
