Police: Juvenile injured by vehicle while caroling

Chubbuck Police report a juvenile was injured by a vehicle while caroling Tuesday night in the area of Stars and Declaration Roads in Chubbuck.

Police report their initial investigation revealed there was a group of individuals Christmas caroling while riding in a trailer that was being pulled by another vehicle around 8 p.m.

According to police, a juvenile male jumped from the trailer and then attempted to jump back onto the trailer when he was struck by the rear wheels on the trailer itself.

An ambulance transported the juvenile to the hospital.

The extent of the injuries to the juvenile is not known; however, police report the injuries are not life-threatening.

Police are continuing their investigation. No names are being released at this time.
